The following is an overview of the grants and prizes awarded in 2022. This excludes individual laureates and laureates of Erasmus MC partnership grants (these are listed in the 2022 annual report of the Erasmus MC), but includes the prizes awarded to Erasmus MC students and researchers by Erasmus University Rotterdam and Stichting Erasmus Trustfonds.

Highest awards in Dutch academia

The Spinoza Prize and the Stevin Prize of 2.5 million euros each are the highest awards in Dutch academic. The individual Spinoza Prize is awarded each year to a number of academics who have done outstanding and groundbreaking research with a major impact. The Stevin Prize is awarded to a number of academics and/or teams who have achieved success in the area of knowledge utilisation for society.
